James is an Australian creative who has worked in Sydney, London and now Dublin, Ireland. He has worked in the areas of motion graphics design, art direction, photographic art direction, advertising concepts (big ideas), web and digital design/art direction, smartphone app design, illustration and more recently filmmaking.
Lately James has been directing the Amongst Inspiration series of HD web films. These feature top Irish creatives on the subject of inspiration. James conceived, directed, shot and edited the ongoing series. His filmmaking has been featured on Notcot.org, LostAtEminor.com, TheClink.ie, DesignOfTheTimes.ie, ovo.ie, Freshbump.com, WorldIrish.com, SynthEastwood.com, Scamp.ie, ForTheLoveOf, IllustrationMundo.com, was used as part of the Pivot Dublin: World Design Capital 2014 bid and is being screened as part of Innovation Dublin 2011.

He has had the pleasure of working on major brands and high profile projects with creative companies like Stylorouge (London), Mesh22 (Sydney), Garner MacLennan Design (Sydney), Dreamer (Sydney), Rothco (Dublin) and Irish International BBDO (Dublin).
He was recently featured in Taschen's 'Illustration Now! Vol.3' featuring 150 of the world's most exciting illustrators. In Ireland he has enjoyed working with clients like Aer Lingus, Guinness, O2, Dublin Bus, The Irish Times, Absolut Vodka & Heineken.
James also performs and writes songs. He co-wrote the ARIA top 10 Australian hit 'Beautiful As You' for much loved Aussie band The Whitlams. His second solo album is due out in March 2012.
James occasionally guest lectures at various colleges including Shillington College (Sydney / London) and is a regular guest writer for New York City based culture website LostAtEminor. He writes on topics including new art, culture, music, film and books.
